Tattoo Removal
Have you had any tattoo or semi-permanent work done on your eyebrows in the past that you would like to remove? There are two ways to remove this, either by laser which can be done by a licensed physician or using our pigmentation removal service where we apply a highly concentrated salt solution to the unwanted pigmented area. The effectiveness of this service and number of sessions depends on color and age of your tattoo and skin condition. A complimentary consultation with one of our artists is recommended prior to this service to provide you with the best solution.
- Discontinue the use of any Vitamin A/Retinol products two weeks prior.
- Avoid tanning or using sunbeds two weeks prior so we can assess your natural skin tone.
- Avoid face scrubs or chemical peels two weeks prior.
- Avoid Botox or filler treatments two weeks prior.
- Avoid AHA treatments two weeks prior.
- Avoid picking, tweezing, waxing or performing electrolysis one week prior.
- Avoid taking Fish Oil or Vitamin E one week prior as these are natural blood thinners.
- Avoid alcohol and aspirin/ibuprofen and any vitamins that may thin your blood three days prior.
- Avoid coffee consumption 2 hours prior to your appointment.
- Avoid exercising on the day of your appointment.
- Do not immerse the treated area in water for 14 days. When showering, make sure to avoid face area. When cleaning or washing face, make sure to avoid treated area and clean around it.
- Do not put makeup or any product on the treated area for a minimum of 10 days. Treated area is an open wound, using makeup may cause infections.
- Avoid alcohol and aspirin/ibuprofen and any vitamins that may thin your blood for 24 hours post treatment.
- Treated area will feel slightly itchy as it heals and will start to lightly scab over. Do not peel or pick at the scabs as this can affect the outcome.
- Avoid sweating, swimming, tanning, sunbeds or going into saunas for at least 14 days.
- Avoid botox, fillers, face scrubs or chemical peels for at least 2 weeks.
If any of the below contraindications apply, you may require a physicians note or may not be able to undergo treatment:

- Circulatory problems
- Anemia
- Low Blood Pressure
- Fainting spells or dizziness

- Cancer
- Keloid scars
- Prolonged Bleeding
- Diabetes
- Liver disease
- Thyroid disturbances
- Heart Conditions
- Accutane within 6 months
- Pregnant or nursing clients
- Under 18
- Have skin disease or irritations
- Any other serious medical condition
- Allergic to lidocaine, prilocaine, benzocaine, tetracaine or epinephrine
